Revelation 13:10-18 The Anti-Christ and the False Prophet

SLIDE  1  The Unholy Trinity
       Dragon-Satan 12:3
       1st beast-Antichrist 13:1
       2nd beast-False Prophet 13:11
SLIDE  2 picture of three The Dragon is Satan supposedly give power to the 1st beast  the Antichrist with the 10 horns. Second beast in the background is the false prophet raining down fire.
SLIDE  3 Some of these points on the chart have been met throughout history by Ruler or dictators. The anti-Christ will meet them ALL 10 requirements. We will go over all of these reverences and the last 8 verses in ch.13.
SLIDE  4 Zooming in on the anti-Christ look at Revelation 13:5 For 42 months 13:6 It opened its mouth to utter blasphemies against God, blaspheming his name and his dwelling, that is, those who dwell in heaven Antichrist it is a culmination of the animals from Daniel. Look at the bear feet.
He will not look like a beast but will probably very handsome. Only God can give the Antichrist authority, unbelievers will be attracted to the charismatic leader who makes promises to save the world through his plans and programs. He will make peace with Israel and rebuilt the temple. And try to unite the world powers and create a one world religion. The world tries to figure out who this is. They show pictures of the pope, the president, other world leaders. As we go through the list, you will see it is not time.
1.     SLIDE  5 Not come on the world scene until after the Rapture:  2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction,
2.  SLIDE  6 Rise to power in the Last Days: Daniel 8.19-23. 19He said, "Behold, I will make known to you what shall be at the latter end of the indignation, for it refers to the appointed time of the end.20As for the ram that you saw with the two horns, these are the kings of Media and Persia.21And the goat is the king of Greece. And the great horn between his eyes is the first king.22As for the horn that was broken, in place of which four others arose, four kingdoms shall arise from his nation, but not with his power.23And at the latter end of their kingdom, when the transgressors have reached their limit, a king of bold face, one who understands riddles, shall arise.
3.  SLIDE  7 Rule the entire world: Revelation 13.7 Also it was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer them. And authority was given it over every tribe and people and language and nation,
4.  SLIDE 8  Rule by international consent: Revelation 17.12,13. 13These are of one mind, and they hand over their power and authority to the beast.
This is where people say one world government, one world currency. From this description, it is logical to assume that this person is the leader of a one-world government which is recognized as sovereign over all other governments. A logical conclusion is that the disasters and plagues described in Revelation as the seal and trumpet judgments will be so devastating and create such a monumental global crisis that people will embrace anything and anyone who promises to give them relief.
5.  SLIDE 9 Rule by deception: Daniel 8:24-25His power shall be great---but not by his own power; and he shall cause fearful destruction and shall succeed in what he does, and destroy mighty men and the people who are the saints.25By his cunning he shall make deceit prosper under his hand, and in his own mind he shall become great. Without warning he shall destroy many. And he shall even rise up against the Prince of princes, and he shall be broken---but by no human hand.
6.  SLIDE 10 Be intelligent and persuasive: Daniel 7.20… the ten horns that were on its head, and the other horn that came up and before which three of them fell, the horn that had eyes and a mouth that spoke great things, and that seemed greater than its companions.
7.     SLIDE  11  Control the global economy: Revelation 13.16,17,18
16 Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead,17 so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name.18 This calls for wisdom: let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666.

SLIDE 12 The meaning of 666 is a mystery, and it appears that the apostle John, writing under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, intended it to be that way. Calculating it, John says, requires “wisdom.”  Any name can add up to 666 if enough mathematical gymnastics are employed.
8.     SLIDE 13 Be assisted by the False Prophet: Revelation 13.11-15
11  Then I saw another beast rising out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb and it spoke like a dragon. 12It exercises all the authority of the first beast in its presence, and makes the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose mortal wound was healed.
False Prophets counterfeits work of Elijah calling fire from heaven.13 It performs great signs, even making fire come down from heaven to earth in front of people,14 and by the signs that it is allowed to work in the presence of the beast it deceives those who dwell on earth, telling them to make an image for the beast that was wounded by the sword and yet lived.15 And it was allowed to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast might even speak and might cause those who would not worship the image of the beast to be slain.
Similar to the statue of Nebuchadnezzar this image was made to be worshipped.
9.     SLIDE 14 Make & break a peace treaty with Israel: Daniel 9. 26And after the sixty-two weeks, an anointed one shall be cut off and shall have nothing. And the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its end shall come with a flood, and to the end there shall be war. Desolations are decreed.27And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week, and for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall come one who makes
10.            SLIDE 15 Claim to be God: 2 Thessalonians 2.4   who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.
2 Corinthians 11:13-15 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.14 And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.15 So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds.
SLIDE 16  Matthew 24:11-14 11And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. 12And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. 13But the one who endures to the end will be saved.14And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
